

Ronnie Dean Mollette, age 82, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on June 13, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 25, 1942, in Minnie, Kentucky, to James "Jake" and Matilda "Tildy" (Waller) Mollett, Ronnie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Earl Mollett, and sister Nathel Kimbler. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Frances (Ferguson) Mollette; children Ronda (Greg) Messer of Gallatin, Tennessee; Judy (Mike) Stidam of Marysville, Ohio; and James (Tina) Mollette of Ludlow Falls, Ohio. Ronnie was also the proud grandfather of Erica (Allan) Smith, Emily (Aaron) Tom, Halee (Justin) Mollette, Loren (Zach) Stidam, Maddie (Conner) Pohl, and Ryan Mollette, and great-grandfather to Calder Tom, Preston Smith, and Liam Smith.
He is also survived by his siblings: Don (Jane) Mollette, Sr. of Ashland, Kentucky; Vernon (Rita) Mollette of Wabash, Indiana; Denver Mollett of Ashland, Kentucky, Daymond Mollette of Ashland, Kentucky, and Gloria (Rick) Gilliam, of Blaine, Kentucky; and Cassie (Danny) Barker of Louisa, Kentucky.
Ronnie's work ethic was unparalleled, having been employed for over 30 years as a delivery driver at Lazarus, where he earned numerous accolades for his dedication and exceptional service.
A long-time member of the Alkire Road Church of Christ (formerly Sullivant Avenue Church of Christ), Ronnie faithfully served as a deacon for over 40 years. His commitment to his church family was as steadfast as his love for his own.
In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his wife, Frances, who was his high school sweetheart. Together, they enjoyed attending church, watching UK basketball, dining out, traveling, and cherishing time spent with loved ones.
Visitation will be held at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 4242 Hoover Rd. Grove City, OH 43123, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 4-7 pm. His funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11 am at the funeral home with Minister Tim Hatfield, officiating, with burial at Grove City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fort Hill Christian Youth Camp 13500 Fort Hill Rd. Hillsboro, OH 45133 in Ronnie’s memory.
