

William “Bill” Bowling, 66, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022. He was born March 15, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to the late John “Wilburn” and Ella “Louise” (Snyder) Bowling. He was a 1975 graduate of Franklin Heights High School. Bill was a seasoned Tool & Die maker and retired from Crane Plastics. He was an avid car guy and member of the Booster Car Club. Bill was a family man and enjoyed the quality time that he spent with all of his family. He was an active member of Friends Worship Center. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy May. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Tamie Bowling; daughters, Tara (Bill) Ellis and Kara (Doug) Lipps; grandchildren, Kiara, Taylor, Morgan, Madison, Desmond, Amara, Skye, and Braxton; great-grandchildren, Daylenn, Gia, Monnie, Bella, Lorenzo, and Elijah; 5 step-great-grandchildren; siblings, John Bowling, Donald (Robin) Bowling, Ronald (Candy) Bowling, and Lisa Tackett; brother-in-law, Donald (Davina) Britton; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 3-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Friends Worship Center, 3030 Clime Rd, Columbus, OH 43223. Funeral Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Adam Garrabrant and Pastor Bruce Bell officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends Worship Center Children’s Program.
