William Joseph Woods

William Joseph "Joey" Woods, 37, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025. He was a 2007 graduate of Community Christian Academy. Joey was incredibly mechanically inclined and had a remarkable talent for fixing just about anything. He was a classic car enthusiast who loved restoring old rides and took great joy in the process. As a gifted and skilled diesel mechanic, he had a natural talent that set him apart. With his kind eyes and generous heart, Joey never failed to lend a hand to strangers and family alike. His sense of humor was lively, and he delighted in playing lighthearted jokes on those he loved most. More than anything, Joey was a devoted and loving father. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Peggy; paternal grandparents, Robert and Grace; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joey is survived by his girlfriend, Nancy; children, Colton, Carter, Billy, Kaylee, Austin, and Natalya; parents, Bill and Lisa; siblings, Jennifer (Joey), Stephanie, Elizabeth(Norman) and Lilia; grandfather, Robert; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. with interment at Concord Cemetery. Joey is continuing to give in life as a Lifeline of Ohio Organ Donor.
