Floyd Eugene Turnbow

Mr. Floyd Eugene “Gene” Turnbow, age 56, of Grove Hill, Alabama passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014. Mr. Turnbow was a native of Illinois and was employed as a maintenance worker at Energex in Thomasville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Turnbow; his father, Floyd Turnbow and his sister, Betty Joyce Rich. Survivors include his mother, Betty Turnbow of Grove Hill, AL; four brothers: Pete (Frances) Turnbow of Collinwood, TN, Walter (Val) Turnbow of Lovington, IL, Terry (Gina) Turnbow of Grove Hill, AL and Boyd (Karen) Turnbow of Arcola, IL; one sister, Eillen (George) Fuller of Whatley, AL and three sons: Joshua Turnbow, Jeremy Turnbow and Lucas Turnbow, all of Phoenix, AZ and three grandchildren. The family will hold services at a later date in Taylorville, Illinois. Arrangements under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home, Grove Hill, AL.
