Harry L Norris

Noonie was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and a member of Park Side Church of Christ in Port Arthur. He had a love for water and boats which made his position as a tugboat co-captain with his brother Bobby Gene Norris on the T.F. Ellis III more of an adventure than a job. He also enjoyed candle making and taking care of his late dog, Candy. Noonie had a great fondness for geriatric patients and would gladly volunteer for the Gulf Coast Healthcare Facility.

He is preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Bobby Gene Norris; sister, Helen Rae Norris and his parents.

He is survived by his biological son, Terry Wayne Patrick and wife Leslie of Missouri City, TX; sister, Marjorie Patrick and husband Pete of Kirbyville; special nephew, Kerry Joe Patrick of Kirbyville; special niece, Pattie Patrick Jones of Nederland; 2 grandsons, Pete Patrick, Peyton Patrick and his special "mother figure", Miss Youra Mae Duplechain.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in the "Chapel of Love Mausoleum" in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves where he will be laid to rest next to his brother, Bobby Gene.
