Louis Brown, Jr. of Port Arthur died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at his residence. A native of Lake Providence, Louisiana, he was a resident of Port Arthur for 54 years. He was employed at B.F.I. for 12 years or longer and was a 1970 graduate of Lincoln High School.
He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Brown, Sr; his mother Dorothy Graham and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Marie Brown of Port Arthur, TX; his two sons, Wayne Keith Brown and De’Marius Tremayne Brown both of Port Arthur, TX; two sisters, O’Livia B. Levine and Nell Delores McCarty (Hebert) both of Port Arthur, TX; stepmother, Mary Brown of Port Arthur, TX; four sisters; seven brothers, four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Gabriel Funeral Home with a viewing from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
