It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anita, a beloved daughter of Tilda and Mario, cherished sister of Adam, and loving niece of Ilda and Gioanna. She will be dearly missed by her many cousins, extended family, and the countless friends whose lives she touched.
Anita was known for her kind, caring, and generous heart. She always put others first and had a genuine concern for the well-being of everyone around her. Though quiet by nature, she treasured spending time with family and friends, whether sharing a cup of coffee or catching up over conversation.
For 24 years, Anita was a dedicated volunteer and passionate fundraiser in support of Thalassemia research. Her unwavering commitment helped make a meaningful difference in the lives of many, and her legacy of service will continue to inspire others.
Anita's warmth, selflessness, and gentle spirit will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family is deeply grateful to the many volunteers, friends and medical staff for the kind support and loving care they provided to them and Anita throughout the years of her journey.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 14 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. Guelph. A funeral mass will take place at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 15 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, followed by entombment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum at Marymount Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Thalassemia Foundation of Canada in memory of Anita would be appreciated by the family.
