McCARTHY, Ann Joslin (nee Pirie)-- 85 years young, beloved wife of Dr. Dermot McCarthy, died peacefully on Saturday, January 22, 2011. Wonderful mum to Peg, Sheila, Molly, John, and honourary daughter, Fern. Granny to Stephanie, Callum, Charley, Mackenzie, Haley, Samantha, Drew and Riley. Loving sister of Jane Bulger. Sister-in-law, great-aunt, friend, artisan and cracker-jack bridge partner to many. Loved a good laugh, a good movie, a good book, and a good glass of wine. She will be missed.
