Greatly missed by his three grandchildren Ben, Emma, and Charlie of Guelph, Ontario. Reflecting on time spent together are Brian’s three sisters, Susan of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Sheila of New Zealand, and Brenda of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Brian had many nieces and nephews.
Brian was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan by his parents Joan and Ken. After high school, Brian travelled to Vancouver; BC to attend the University of British Columbia.While there, he met Barbara, and a short time later they were married. Brian and Barbara moved many times over the years as Brian built his career in the banking and data processing field. They lived in five different provinces before settling in Oakville, Ontario.
Brian pursued many interests over the years and focused much of his time running, reading, and following sports and athletics. He and Barbara enjoyed many camping trips in Ontario and across Western Canada. Brian’s grandchildren were fortunate to go on many adventures with him and he enjoyed taking every opportunity to spoil them.
As there will not be a service, the family asks for donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
