Bruno John Sanvido

Sanvido, Bruno Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Thursday, July 31, 2008 in his 81st year. A member of the Italian Canadian Club for over fifty years and twice president. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Peacock) Sanvido. Loving father of son, Father Don Sanvido of St. Basil's Church in Brantford, and daughters Karren Sanvido of Guelph, Cathy (Paul) Grimwood of Guelph, and Lynda (Jim) Swafford of Ithaca, New York. Cherished Poppy to Tara (Steve) Lemieux, Tina (Dave) Guidolin, Tanya Stewart, Amber Stewart, and Aaron Sanvido. Sadly missed by brothers Fred, Reno (Chip), and sisters Ida Longo and Ines Bolzon as well as many family members and friends. The family wishes to acknowledge their appreciation to both the Grand River Hospital and it's satellite dialysis unit in Guelph. A special thank you to Dr. Sommerville and all the nurses who have cared for Bruno through the years. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, HART CHAPEL, 1099 Gordon St., on Monday, August 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Bruno will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St., Guelph, on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation, Renal Program, would be appeciated by the family.
