It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Christine on Oct 30, 2022 at the Hospice Wellington with her family by her side.
Loved mother of Andrew and Karen (Jody), cherished Grandma of Jadyn, Tyson, Kenzie and Cameron. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Christina McCarthy. Will sadly be
missed by her extended family and friends.
Christine was born in Glasgow, Scotland. She immigrated to Canada in 1973. She worked at Blount for over 30 years before her retirement. She loved taking long walks with her dog Miley, loved music especially her favourite British bands, loved gardening and spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
A private ceremony will take place at Marymount Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. The family extends a special thank you to all the incredible nurses, doctors and staff at the Hospice Wellington and the GGH.
In lieu of flowers, donation's to the Hospice Wellington and Guelph Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
