Donald Joseph Bolton

BOLTON, Donald J. Peacefully, at the Kitchener Grand River Hospital, with his family at his side, on Friday, January 16, 2009. Born October 14, 1925, Don Bolton, in his 84th year, was the beloved husband of Madeliene (Max) Schmidt, for sixty-three years. He was the loving father of Gary and Michelle Bolton of Guelph, Mary Lyn and Robert Gibner of Paisley, and Paul and Rhonda Bolton of Kenilworth. He was predeceased by a daughter, Veronica. Poppy will be sadly missed by ten grandchildren. Don will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his sister Shirley (and Alf) Drexler and by his brother Tom (and Lorraine) Bolton. Don is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Bertha Bolton, by a brother, Robert Bolton, and by a sister, Isabel Ralston. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Don will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow.
