Donelda was born in Walkerton and at the tender age of 13, with her two sisters (Charlotte and Aunna) began performing as the “Noll Sisters”. Music continued to be a vital part of her life as she joined with Harry to create a family band, “The Comebacks”. She entertained all of us with her accordion and piano playing for many occasions and for many years.
Donelda was a talented and ambitious decorator always changing her decor; she volunteered her time to help so many others too. She loved decorating for every occasion and Christmas was her favourite. Every occasion including all our birthdays were celebrated with a delicious meal, a fancy table setting including seat covers and a scratch ticket under the plate. Donelda was always described as a kind and thoughtful individual, always ready to lend a hand. Although, she was proud to be a wife and mother, her greatest joy and comfort was being involved in her grandchildren and great grandchildren lives. Her welcoming spirit, her unconditional love and compassion for her family and others will be missed; we will cherish the wonderful memories we created.
