It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Douglas Robert Campbell of Rockwood, Eramosa Township on July 25, 2015 in his 66th year.

Doug will be sadly missed by his sisters Carol Whyne (Jack) of Collingwood and nephews Jason and Darrin, Sharon Petteplace (Brad) of Lucknow and nephews Shane and Devin, Lynda Campbell (Carl Glasgow) of Brampton. He will also be missed by extended family and friends. Doug was predeceased by his parents Bob and Wilda Campbell of Lucknow, Ontario.

Doug leaves behind a legacy of service to the well-being of the equine community. He loved the outdoors, animals, music, sports as well as being skilled in leather craft and woodworking. His passion to help others is well known in the community.

A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at the Oelbaum Farm located at 5028 4th Line (Wellington Road 44), Eramosa. In his memory, donations can be made to Lucknow Minor Sports or Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre (Puslinch).
