1959 – 2020
In Memoriam
Elizabeth Ann Morrison-Bulloch, survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Mark Morrison, and her son, Benjamin Peter Morrison, passed away at 7:30, December 8th, 2020.
Born in Toronto and raised in Meaford, ON. Ann lived with her mother Beth Salhany, and the late Ian Bulloch. After 16 years she decided to return to Toronto and go through life on her own.
What follows afterwards is an astounding life lived to its peak. Elizabeth has always been a person of character, charisma, love, intellect, and personality. A woman full of love and care for her friends and others.
A passionate woman;
whether it be art and drawing, a love for music, literature and writing, or simply the love she gave her family and friends, Ann put all of her heart into everything she touched.
Loving
Intelligent
Wise
Determined
Endearing
Optimistic
These are all powerful words that that describe who Ann was, important traits that we must carry on with us.
But at last there is strength.
Elizabeth Ann Morrison-Bulloch has fought through the toughest of odds, personal and physical.
She faced years of ongoing surgery to fix a ruptured spine, she had to face fibromyalgia, and lastly, the unforgiving creature that is lupus.
She fought for years as a survivor, with ongoing pain and worsening and persistence of this hand that was dealt. But she kept going. She never quit, not even in her last moments. Why? Love. A mother to all her loved ones and the people she had touched.
Today we ask that we find the faith in ourselves to believe in something better. The faith to know that our dear mother is no longer in pain and will rest in the garden of mother earth given back the love and peace she has given all of us.
We love you great mother.
You are always with us.
“I, I will be king
And you, you will be queen
Though nothing will drive them away
We can beat them, just for one day
We can be heroes, just for one day
And you, you can be mean
And I, I'll drink all the time
'Cause we're lovers, and that is a fact
Yes we're lovers, and that is that
Though nothing will keep us together
We could steal time just for one day
We can be heroes for ever and ever
What d'you say?
I, I wish you could swim
Like the dolphins, like dolphins can swim
Though nothing, nothing will keep us together
We can beat them, for ever and ever
Oh we can be Heroes, just for one day
I, I will be king
And you, you will be queen
Though nothing will drive them away
We can be Heroes, just for one day
We can be us, just for one day
I, I can remember (I remember)
Standing, by the wall (by the wall)
And the guns, shot above our heads (over our heads)
And we kissed, as though nothing could fall (nothing could fall)
And the shame, was on the other side
Oh we can beat them, for ever and ever
Then we could be Heroes, just for one day
We can be Heroes
We can be Heroes
We can be Heroes
Just for one day
We can be Heroes
We're nothing, and nothing will help us
Maybe we're lying, then you better not stay
But we could be safer, just for one day
just for one day….”
