All of us at Torchlight are deeply saddened to hear the news of Frankie’s passing, will truly be missed! We have so many great memories of Frankie through the years and our thoughts are with all of you.

My Condolences to the Carere Family. When I was living in Guelph I would often see Frank out walking. He was freindly and always say hi. Last time I seen him was at the Ward Reunion.

You were a loving family and your mother was always so very kind.  She was a caring lovely person. It is comforting to read the wonderful comments about our brother Frank. Comments from people I haven't seen in many years from both neighbourhoods on Alice and Renfield Street and people that new Frank throughout Guelph. I know Frank was well liked and he touched a lot of people in his unique way. Thank you all for those kind words.

  I'm so sorry to hear about Frank. I know how  much he meant to you. 
Lucy he loved you so much you could really tell by the way he would ask for you if he heard something in your room he would tell "you alright lucy". 
I wish I could give you a big huge hug. Just know I am thinking of you and your family at the this awful time.  
I love you Lucy every since I started my job   33 yrs ago. We have done so much over the years together  You mean the world to me Lucy.

My sisters have said it all...having Lucy,Frank,David,Aldo,Elena ,Rachele and Mr. and Mrs. Carere as neighbours was a wonderful experience for all of us...when one of them would come over with any of Mrs. Carere’s homemade presents...we all where excited!!!we had a lot of fun and Frankie had a special bond with my parents...they loved to hear from him years after they moved away...my condolences to all of you at this very difficult time..

People like Frank are truly rare, he was such a big part of the Renfield neighbourhood . I am thinking of the entire Carere family at such a difficult time. May your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead. My mom and Frank shared a unique friendship right into her 90’s ......I’m thinking he may look her up for another chat in heaven .Great  childhood and teen year memories with Aldo ,Rachel ,Elena ,David and  Lucy ....what a crazy bunch of us running around that neighbourhood...not quite sure how our parents ever did it.❤️🙏

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Frankie. My deepest condolences to the Carere family. Aldo, Rachele, Elena, David, Lucy. I have so many fond memories of living beside the Careres on Renfield Street. Frankie remained a great friend of my parents long after I moved out and then Frankie and Lucy moved out. He popped over at least once a day asking mom for something, usually it was for sugar. He loved his coffee and sugar! Mom would pour him a coffee too! Frankie would often phone my mother when she moved to her retirement home. So many memories! Sending love to you all!! 

Frank was the real deal. He had such love in his eyes, was always so interested when I saw him. He knew how to laugh and he knew what love is. Resting now with your mom and dad. So sorry for Lucy to loose her big brother who took such good care of her all these years. A fiercely loyal man, a real treasure of the family. 

Frank was such a familiar fixture of Renfield Street when we were all growing up and I fondly recall his many chats and rants with my father, "Dr. Bill".  Our condolences to the Carere family on your loss.  He was one of a kind.
