Gaetano Di Ruzza

Di Ruzza, Gaetano (Guy) March 4th 1928 to November 18th 2011. With profound sadness, the Di Ruzza family announce the passing of Guy Di Ruzza at Hospice Wellington, Guelph. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Anna, of 58 years and his children, Caterina (Bruce McDonald) and Vince Di Ruzza. Much loved nonno to Ryan (Melissa), Michael and partner Marta, and Anita. Loved brother of the late Folco Di Ruzza and wife Santina. Special uncle to Aldo Di Ruzza, Sly Castaldi, and Nadia Mora and their families. Predeceased by siblings Tomasina, Genoveffa, Antonio, and Pasqualina, all of Italy. Survived by two sisters, Lizetta and Filomena, also of Italy. Guy loved and nurtured his garden as he loved and nurtured his family. The family wishes to thank Dr. Chan, Dr. Robinson, and the nursing staff at Guelph General Hospital, especially nurse Gaye. A very special thank you to the staff of Hospice Wellington, Guelph. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Tuesday, November 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Guy will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Wednesday, November 23, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As an expression of sympathy, a donation to Hospice Wellington, Guelph would be appreciated by the family (a card is available at the funeral home).
