Passed away peacefully, in his 85th year, early on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Lisaard House, Cambridge. George was a longtime employee of Potter & Brumfield / AMF, a devoted lifetime member of the Basilica of Our Lady and an avid fan of OHL hockey games.
George is lovingly remembered by his brother Neil and his wife Eileen, by their children Mary, Patrick, Maureen, Tim, Kevin and Jennifer, by great-nephews William and Conor and by a great-niece Moira. He was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Eileen (nee Sleeman) Corbett and by his sisters Sheila and Kathleen.
Friends are invited to meet with the family for a Funeral Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
