Giuliano Rossit

Peacefully passed away in his 89th year, at Hospice Wellington, on January 12, 2015. Beloved husband of Marie Rossit (nee Sartor). Loving father of Loriann (Renato) Manera, Joe, and Ronnie. Dear grandfather of Matthew (Kathryn) and Katelyn Manera, and great-grandfather of Aubree. Predeceased by his parents Giulio and Vittoria. He is survived by his siblings Armeda (late Benigio), Ilario (late Ada), and Loredano (Rose) in Canada, and Rosina (Tarcisio), Vittoria (Luigi), and Franco (Chiaretta) in Italy. Predeceased by brothers Elio (Caterina) and Giovanni (Argia). Giuliano is also survived by brothers and sisters in-law; Louis (late Lena), Hilda (late Louie), John (Dorothy), and Nel (Dorothy). Predeceased by Delia, her first husband Tony, her second husband Colin, and her daughter Frances. He will be missed by nieces, nephews, and friends in Canada and Italy. Giuliano’s main focus in life was his family, and his passions were gardening and playing Bocce. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph (519-821-5077) on Thursday, January 15th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Vigil will take place at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s Church, 45 Victoria Road N., Guelph, on Friday, January 16th at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Marymount Cemetery to follow.
