Henryk Mieczkowski

November 21, 1944 – November 5, 2023

Passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving family at the Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Henryk Mieczkowski in his 79th year, was the son of the late Leokadia and Antoni Mieczkowski. He was the beloved husband of Joanna (Przestrzelska) Mieczkowska. Henryk was the loving father of Mariola with Waclaw, Dariusz with Iwona and Alicia with Jacek. He was the proud Dziadzio of Grzegorz, Piotrek, Karolina with Andrew, Arek with Roksana, Agnieska with Parker, Przemek with Wiktoria, Anita, Daniel and Natalia and great-grandfather of Sofie and Julian. Henryk was the dear brother of Stanislaw and the late Zenon.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive their friends on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayer will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 8:15 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church 98 Alice St., Guelph on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
