James Earle Fletcher

FLETCHER, James Earle— Peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, November 17, 2014 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Norma and predeceased by his first wife Annie (1992). Loving father of Julie, Gregory, Geoffrey (Sandy), Karen (Rick), Dean (Michelle) and Darren and step-father to Patricia, Jeffrey, Robert (Donna) and Shawna (Michael). Cherished grandfather and papa Jim to twenty-five grandchildren and great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren. He is survived by his two brothers, Raymond (Sue) and Wayne, foster brother John (Pat) Ash and brother-in-law Pat Scally. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the 5th Floor Step Down Unit at the Guelph General Hospital for their kindness and care. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where a memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 11am-1pm. A memorial service to follow in our chapel at 1pm. Interment of ashes at Marymount Cemetery at a later date.
