James Hasson

Hasson, James Wilfred-- Passed away, peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, April 16, 2012. James W. Hasson, age 93 years, was the beloved husband, for 68 years of Kathleen (Goetz) Hasson. He was the loving father of Charlotte Beyerle, Rob (Karen), Diane Beitz (Herb), Gary (Kerri), and Jim (Wendy) and the late Beverly (1992). Predeceased by his son-in-law Herb Beyerle (2003). James was the proud grandfather of Jeff, Justin, Shenea, Michael, Regan, and Braiden. He was the dear brother of Joe (Emma), Mary Zinger (Lloyd), and the late Lloyd, Bea, Roy, and John. Survived also by his sister-in-law Rita, and by many nieces and nephews. James was a dedeicated farmer who loved raising and showing cattle. James was a long time member of the Maryhill Knights of Columbus. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for James will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Boniface Church, Maryhill on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill.
