Jean Kay

KAY, Jean (nee Hayward) Suddenly, on Friday, December 11, 2009, at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Garnet and two daughters Jannette Hawes and Patricia Sippel. Loving mother of Calvin and James Kay. Cherished Grandma of 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Survived by her four siblings Julia, Cecil, Russell and Bryon. Jean was an active member of the Stone United Church and the U.C.W. for the past 45 years. Jean was very active in baking, cooking and homemaking. She will be greatly missed by her many friends. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Rockwood Chapel , 117 Guelph St., Rockwood, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2009. A funeral Service will be held at the Stone United Church, R.R.3 Rockwood Ontario (4th Line of Eramosa) on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment, Rockwood Cemetery.
