It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I, Annette Voss-Lake, announce the passing of my loving husband and soul mate Jeffrey Stephen Grenn, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jeff was born in Toronto on June 19, 1963 to loving parents Dr. Harvey Grenn, DVM, and Joanne (nee Zettel) Grenn. He was much loved by his brother John Grenn, by his sister-in-law Anna Parker and by his niece Isis Parker. Jeff was the step-son of Morty Taylor and the step-brother of Jay Taylor (his wife Lia Taylor) and their daughter Katie. He is remembered by aunts Sheila Zettel and Patricia Howitt (Mrs. Peter Howitt) and family, as well as by sisters-in-law Rosie Taylor (Mrs. Doug Taylor) and Petra Begin (Mrs. David Begin) and family. He is affectionately remembered and will be sadly missed by many life-long friends.
Jeff graduated from George Brown College with a degree in Property Management. He spent the next 25 years refining those skills and he was quoted by industry peers to be a legend in his field.
Jeff may have only lived 53 years, but he did a lot of living in those 53 years! His love for the water and for boating took him on many adventures from Georgian Bay through the Great Lakes and then on to Key West, Florida as well as to the Bahamas. Whichever way the wind was blowing, that was Jeff’s next port of call.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
