McIntyre, Joan Patricia -- Peacefully, at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Joan was the loving mother of Michael McIntyre (Ruth Mason) of Fergus, and Christina McIntyre (Shane Williams) of Guelph. She was the proud grandmother of William Wolfe McIntyre. Joan was the beloved daughter of Betty Switzer and the late William of Mount Forrest. She was the dear sister of Dianne Meeuwse (Pete) of Markdale. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. A celebration of Joan's life will be held in the chapel at 12 noon. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
