Julia Elizabeth Patterson

PATTERSON, Julia Elizabeth (nee Coffin) – Passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009 after a brief battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her husband Ivan of fifty-five years. Julia was the loving mother of David and his wife Suzanne of Guelph and Elaine and her husband Dario Cecchin, recently of Newfoundland. Julia was very involved in the lives of her grandchildren, of whom she was deeply proud: Sharon and her husband Tyler Butzke, Heather and Brian. She will be sadly missed. Julia was predeceased by her parents Laughlin and Muriel (Tessie) Coffin and brothers Gerald and Melvin. She is survived by her sister Velma and her husband Lester of Brampton, her brother Elmer and his wife Sylvia of Montreal and a large extended family from Gaspe, Quebec. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care Julia received at St. Joseph’s Health Centre and the Guelph General Hospital. At Julia’s request, there will be a private family service only.
