It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kathleen Velma Hebert announce her passing in her 97th year. Velma was born on January 6, 1928 to her parents James and Margaret Kay. Velma was married to her husband the late Donald Hebert for 67 years. She passed at the Brantford General Hospital on December 22, 2025.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Val), Bruce (Judy), Deb (the late Bob), Ray (Sue), Jeff (Kaye) Cathy (Doug), Christine (Ned) Paul and Phil. She will be missed by her 26 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild. Predeceased in death her husband, brothers, sisters and grandson Tim Drake.
A visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Dublin Chapel, located at 252 Dublin St. N, Guelph, on December 30, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Committal at Marymount Cemetery. A reception will then follow at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St. Guelph).
Donations directed to the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate would be appreciated by the family.
