Kenneth Alan Christie

Loving husband and best friend of Dr. Maggie Horne, together for 43 years. Proud and loving father of Michael (Ariana) and Jason (Emily). Loving grandfather of Oscar, Axel and Cali. Sorely missed by sister-in-laws Alice (Bain) McKay, Marsha Christie, Michele Horne, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Predeceased by his brother Peter Christie, sister Carol Peckett, and brother-in-law Fraser Horne.

Ken had a great love of animals that led to a prestigious career in Veterinary Medicine specializing in cattle reproduction and embryo transfer.

Ken loved to be by the barbecue, in the kitchen entertaining family and friends, walking his dogs around the fields, and working on the family farm.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday March 14th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon Street, Guelph). Funeral will take place on Wednesday March 15th at 1pm at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel with reception to follow.
