Beloved wife of the late John Sharp (1998). Loving mother of Tina Prior (Wayne) of Guelph, and Colin Sharp (Levi) of Los Angeles. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jenn (Peter) and Allan.
Rose was a secretary for various insurance companies during her career. When her children were young, Rose spent many hours sewing stuffed animals and clothing for friends and family. An avid crafter, Rose enjoyed many trips to needlework shops. After retirement, Rose’s interest turned to quilting and her labours of love are now cherished heirlooms.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Eden House Care Facility and to the staff of 5 West at the Guelph General Hospital for their compassionate care.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph, on Monday, October 27th from 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held at noon followed by a reception.
