BECK, Marlene Helen – Mrs. Marlene Beck passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the age of 69. Beloved wife and best friend of Patrick Beck for 47 years. Loving mother of Jennifer (Ron), Karen (Kris) and Justin. Proud Nana of Kyle, Lindsay and Kaitlyn. Marlene is survived by her siblings Jim (Cheryl) Schmidt, Don (Dana) Schmidt, Susan (Dave) Sutcliffe, Liz (Terry) Brown, Jeanne (Steve) Connell, Jeff (Josephine) Schmidt and sister-in-law’s Joanne Topolinsky and Beverly Beck. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended friends. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Edna Schmidt (1995). Marlene enjoyed her trips to the casino and loved making ceramic keepsakes for family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff on the 4th floor at the Guelph General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11a.m. A light luncheon to be held in the Fellowship Lounge following the service.
