Michael John Bagg

Bagg, Michael John - August 6, 1938 - February 1, 2022, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on February 1st, at the age of 83. Originally from Hammersmith, England, Mike immigrated to Canada in 1967 with his wife, Patricia to start a new life and a family.

He was caring, compassionate, and generous to all who met him and could always light up a room. He was a master at AutoCAD, his design and drafting skills were extraordinary. Mike will be remembered by all his family and friends for his passion for all sports, love of music and his witty and charming sense of humour.

Mike was a devoted and loving husband of Patricia Bagg for almost 60 years, a caring, supportive father of Michelle Bagg (Gareth Smith) and Jason Bagg (Milena) and a proud Grandad to Jonas and Stephen Bagg. He is also survived by his brother and sister overseas, John Bagg (Carol) and Trish Quinlan, Niece Gina Quinlan and Nephew Neil Quinlan. Mike experienced a full and wonderful life and will be missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph. Due to COVID restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance using the link below this obituary or by calling 519-821-5077. All are welcome but masks are mandatory and social distancing will be in place.
