Paul Frederick Garcia

GARCIA, Paul — It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Paul Garcia at his home in Guelph. Paul, who was in his 64th year, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, June 23, 2019. He was predeceased by his father Edward (Eddie) Garcia, and will be sadly missed by his mother Eleanor (Mefe) Garcia, sisters Donna Garcia and Chris (Dean) Breedon, nephew Marc Lussier, niece Celine Lussier, as well has his cherished aunts, cousins, and friends. Paul had many good friendships that spanned decades and he was fortunate to have such a strong network of friends who supported him through some difficult times. Paul will be remembered for his kind heart, off-beat humor and love for philosophizing.

Paul is resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, Ontario, where the family will receive friends on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 2-4p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady Church, 28 Norfolk Street, Guelph, on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
