We were so saddened to hear of Paula’s passing. Over the last few years, we came to know her through our neighborhood walks. She was always so warm and friendly, and we enjoyed every conversation we had with her.  

We’ve purchased your family’s honey for years, and one summer Paula generously invited our son, Merritt, to learn about and participate in some beekeeping with her. He learned so much from these experiences and loved his time with her. We were touched when she shared photos of him all suited up in the beekeeping gear. 

Please accept our sincere condolences on this tremendous loss for your family. Paula spoke so lovingly of her children and grandchildren; it was clear how close and proud she was of her family. Thank you for sharing a little bit of her with us. She will be missed and fondly remembered.  May she rest peacefully.

Steve, Larry and family - We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of your dear Paula. Paula was such a light and vibrant presence - she was always smiling and was so great at keeping up  conversations and asking questions which made us feel cared for and welcome - part of the family. She was a caring and loving soul who will be greatly missed. I feel so blessed to have met her and spent time at family gatherings over the years. She was a wonderful loving Aunt, Great Aunt and Great Great Aunt 
She never missed a birthday or a special occasion  . I will miss our long winded chats about everything and nothing . We would exchange garden photos, mid century homes for sale and dance photos . She was so very proud of her family she was always excited to share their stories with me .
I was glad that she was able to come to see my mom as often as she did , my parents enjoyed her and Uncle Larry's company 
It is very hard to say goodbye to someone as special as her. I am deeply sorry for your loss , may all your wonderful memories help you through this heart breaking time

We were so sorry to hear about Paula's passing.   Even though we did not see her that often, whenever we would meet grocery shopping etc., in Fergus, we would always have a quick hello and Paula was always very friendly .   Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Bendo family, Paula is one of the warmest kind loving woman I have been blessed to know and love. She will always hold a special place in my heart. She will be deeply missed. For many years I went to Paula's front door to buy her delicious honey, usually 2 large jars. When her supply was getting low she would keep two jars for me. We would chat a little, mostly about birds. Paula shared what birds were at her bird feeders and I told her about the birds I saw on the Trestle Trail  near her home. Paula always remembered my wife and would inquire how she was,

I will miss her honey, her kindness and friendly smile.
