RATO, REMEDIO F. (February 16, 1941 – April 12, 2008) Passed away peacefully at his home, with his wife and children by his side. Beloved husband of Olinda (Lobo) Rato. Loving father of Charlotte D'Souza, Eva Sutton (Neil), and Phyllis Rato (Dave Hatch). Dear grandpa of Meagan, Ryan, and Daniel. He will be missed by his family and friends. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A vigil for Remedio will be held on Wednesday at 3:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Church of out Lady at 10 am.
