Just to share one of my favourite memories of one eventful day when Bob was just a little guy.
It was a lovely summer day and the Barnes brothers, then known as Robbie and Ronnie, decided that they wanted to go for a ride.  The fact that they were only three or four years old didn't deter this dynamic duo.  They reached up and opened the car door.  In those days people didn't always lock their cars.  Then without giving much thought as to where they might go, they, the precocious little boys that they were, managed to release the parking brake.  And much to their surprise and delight, or it might have been terror, the car started to roll.  As it picked up speed, it rolled down the driveway, across the street and up onto a neighbour's driveway before it stopped.  The two luckless joyriders were, it would seem, out of gas.  So they had to walk back home all the while wondering if anyone had noticed. 

Bob, you have been well loved and will always be missed.  Memories of you will always put a smile on my face.

I love and miss you so much!, I will forever cherish all the memories we've had. I'd always like to spend the night at your house when I could, you'd spoil me with lots of candy as a kid and watch movie channels with me witch I didn't get at home . You took me fishing and went on atv rides all the time. Youd pretend to eat died house fly's and always try and fool me with your tricks. You were always happy! There is not a time were I seen you anger or upset.  I would ride your new sled behind your house in the fields and you also gave me my frist sled I will always remember the times we had ! I love you Uncle Bob I'll be thinking about you.   Cody Barnes

day.  You Had A Big Bright Smile And Even Bigger Heart And A Contagious Laugh.
You And Ronnie and Donald made us girls fishing rods from Big Sticks - Didn’t catch anything but it was fun.
Aunt Rosie Says You Were Always wanting to help Out And She Loved When you all came over for cookies.
Until We Meet Again 
I know your fishing up there already and showing others the tricks to a great catch.

Uncle Bob,

When I think of the fun times I had up at the lake, one of my favourite memories was because of you. We decided that we would go tobogganing down one of the biggest back road hills I have ever seen and since it was such a monumentous hike back to the top, you loaded my brother and I up in the van after every run and drove us back up time and time again so we wouldn't run out of steam on the walk! Thank you so much for encouraging our playtime and having fun with us- I remember you laughing and smiling from ear to ear because we were having such a great time. You gave me the most incredible memory that I use to compare to all other toboggabing trips as THE BEST, and I will think about you everytime I'm out on the hills. Rest well.

I can recall many memories with you, like when you towed me and my sister on gt racers around round lake when it was frozen, and when we went on atv rides down the trails, or all the times we went out fishing together! You always had endless amounts of stories to tell me, and always had a smile on your face while you were. Thanks for everything you’ve done for me, rest easy Bob

Uncle Bob,

I will always remember all the trips to round lake and all your tutelage on the water. You were there when I caught my "first" fish although I think Kenny or Ray may have snagged that one and passed it off as my own. I remember your laugh and the joy in your face out on the water. You are the reason that no matter where I have moved or where I have been I have always kept a decent takle box and rod close at hand.

I will miss you and think about you every time I am out on the water. Rip and I hope you are where the fish are always biting.

Bob, you were the best brother a sister could of asked for. You used to let me tag along to your ball hockey games, baseball and to the drive in with your girlfriend. I caught my first fish at the lake (22 pound pike) and you thought I had a snag! You taught me how to ride my first dirt bike and when I fell off, you told me to get back on, and not to tell dad I wiped out. Your "happy go lucky" attitude was just the way you were. So many memories to cherish. Love you Bob, going to miss you. Till we meet again RIP xo

I remember being little and bob used too pull the atv with me and my twin brother on our gt racers, we could not stop laughing from how much fun we were having. Nothing is harder than saying goodbye to someone you love. Remembering Bob’s wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace and live on within the memories of his loved ones.

I will alway remember his smile and laugh. He was a great guy. He sure loves to fish I loved listening to all his story how him and his brother fishing and hunting. And the way his face light up when he talked about things he loved. Until we meat again. Rest In Peace my friend.

I will always remember your enthusiasm and kindness with my children (Kaelin and Carson) when they were young.  I have a photo of Carson with a big smile on his face , holding a fish that he caught when you took him fishing.  When you were a child, I remember your love of bananas!  Rest In Peace Bob!

To my best freind and brother, Bob was an awesome fisherman. He put many smiles on peoples faces, he loved what he did, he will be sadly missed by his dog seirra he loved her so much till we meet again rip bob love you
