Smith, Robert Lloyd: Passed away peacefully, at Arbour Trails, The Village of the Arboretum, Guelph, on Thursday, November 28, 2013. Robert Lloyd Smith, in his 84th year, was the beloved husband of the late Joan Marlene (Tuck) Smith (2012). He was the loving father of Kevin and his wife Teresa of Ottawa and Heather and her husband David Stubbings of Beaverton. Cherished grandfather of Grant Smith, Cheryl Bigelow (Lee) and Bradley Simpson. He was born in Brantford Ontario and was retired from White Hall-Robins (Wyeth Consumer Health Care) as Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs following 34 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He was a member of the Masonic Order, Brant Lodge #45, Brantford for over 60 years and also a member of Royal City Day Light Lodge #742 and was a Past Master of Zetland Lodge #326, Toronto. His family will receive friends at Arbour Trails, Village of the Arboretum, 32 Bayberry Dr., Guelph, on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of his Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, Guelph.
