EMENY, STEVEN BRUCE-----July 10, 1947-October 21, 2012 It is with great sadness that Steve passed away with loving family by his side after a short battle with cancer, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, on Sunday October 21, 2012. Beloved husband to Donna (Billing) of 46 years. Devoted father to Steven, Jr., and father-in-law “ Skipper” to Debbie and loving Papa to his 2 little sweetheart gran-daughters , Courtney and Holly. Brother to Edward (Joan) of Cambridge and Michael (Marcie) of Guelph. Brother-in-law to Jack Billing ( Marjan) of New Hamburg; Jerry Billing (Margo) of Guelph; Jim Billing of Toronto and Ron Billing of Burlington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Irene and a sister Patricia, father-in-law Ed Billing and mother-in-law Verna Billing. Steve was a retired Owens Corning employee of 39 years known as “Cat”. Steve enjoyed his retirement renovating his home, puttering, his fish pond and of course his family. Many thanks to Chris, and all staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Resting at the GILBERT MacINTYRE and SON FUNERAL HOME, HART CHAPEL, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph (Wednesday7-9pm & Thursday 1-2pm) where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday afternoon, October 25th, at 2:00 o’clock. Private family interment at a later date.
