Teresa Fonte

FONTE, Teresa Marie — Teresa has left us on Saturday September 18, 2010, at the Royal Terrace, Palmerston, to be with Our Lord. Teresa was the wife of the late Frank Leonardo Fonte (August 8, 2004). She was the only daughter of the late Domenic Carere and Pedencia Scarfo, and daughter- in-law of the late Annunziato and Francesca Fonte (late of Italy). Teresa was the proud and dearest mother of Enzo Fonte (Sue), Frances Fonte, Dominic Fonte, and Tony Fonte, all of Guelph. She was the loving grandmother of Melina Fonte, Anthony Fonte, Jr., Samantha and Brett Trimble. Teresa is predeceased by her siblings Vincenzo Carere (Marie), Victoria Mammoliti (Dominic), Joseph Carere (Angela), Leonardo Carere (Santa) and Michael Carere. Also to never be forgotten, Annunziata and Joseph Carere, and loving sister, “Auntie Victoria” Carere, of Guelph. Sister-in-law of Teresa (Fonte) and her husband Dominic Addario of Welland. Also missed by brothers-in-law Angelo and Bonnie Fonte and George Fonte, all of Guelph. Also Silvio and Maria Fonte, Vincent Melito and Silvana (Fonte), Vincent Cosentino and Natalina (Fonte), all of Italy. Teresa will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of Guelph and abroad. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Tuesday September 21, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Teresa will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home at 8p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St., Guelph, on Wednesday September 22, 2010, at 10 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
