

Beloved and devoted wife of Harvey Lawr (predeceased 2020), Teresa shared 73 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, faith, and unwavering commitment. Born on January 23, 1928, in Georgetown, Ontario, to Agnes and Bernard Wilcox, Teresa built a life centered on family, compassion, and deep faith.
She was a devoted and loving mother to Bernard (Deborah), Bernadette Mammolite (Tony), Pat Woolven (Kevin – predeceased 1995), Marie, Michael, Teresa King (Peter), and Tim (Tara). Teresa was also a dear sister to Gerard Wilcox. She was predeceased by her son Patrick (2008) (Marion), three brothers and one sister.
Teresa’s greatest joy was her family. She was a proud and loving grandmother to 17 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 10. She will be forever remembered by her extended family and many dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth.
A woman of deep faith, Teresa was a devoted member of St. Joseph's Church in Guelph, where her quiet strength and steadfast devotion were evident throughout her life.
Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home – Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St. N., Guelph) on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m., with a service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Marymount Cemetery (5400 Hwy. 6, Guelph).
Teresa’s legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
