Terry Thompson

THOMPSON, Terry Thelma (nee Field)— Peacefully, with family at her side at Riverside Glen, Guelph, on Thursday, January 12, 2012, in her 89th year. Cherished wife of the late Bruce Edward Thompson (1995) and loving mother of Virginia Thompson (Dave Springford) of Waterloo. Dear sister of Roger Field of Elliot Lake, and sister-in-law of Marjorie Thompson of Chilliwack, BC. Predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Ester Field, by her sister Orma Sawyer and her husband Lloyd, by her brother-in-law Earl Thompson and his wife Dorothy and by her brother-in-law William Thompson. Born in Brampton, Terry lived most of her adult life in Mississauga and Guelph, where she had many friends. She enjoyed a life-long interest in interior design, and for many years, was a real estate agent with Royal City Realty in Guelph. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 12 -2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow, in the chapel, at 2 p.m. Interment of Ashes, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph.
