Halstead, Thelma-- Passed away at her residence in Guelph on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Thelma (Chapman) Halstead, in her 86th year, was the beloved wife of the late Ray Halstead (2003). She was the loved mother of Dennis of Brampton, Lynda & her husband Al Lombardi of Victoria, BC, and Steven and his wife Lesia of London. Thelma was the proud grandmother of Aaron, Daniel, Vince, Mason, Myles, and the late Michael. She was the dear sister of Selby Culhane of Brampton. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards are available at the funeral home 519-821-5077 or send condolences at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com).
