
WAREHAM, William Thomas (Tom) December 14, 1931- June 27, 2013 Thursday afternoon, peacefully, at home in Guelph, Tom was reunited with the love of his life, Jessie. Born in Toronto, Tom attended Earl Haig High School and graduated from the University of Western Ontario in London with an Honours Degree in Economics in 1958. He had a long, satisfying career as a teacher at Southwood Secondary School in Cambridge, where he had a positive impact on many young men he coached in football. After retiring, Tom joined Jessie in her business, Rainbows, selling craft panels at shows throughout southern Ontario. They moved to Priceville, where he enjoyed bird-watching, the Leafs, sunsets and going south for the winter. Tom will be deeply missed by mother-in-law Millie Borden, sisters Jackie Harris and Lynn Gohn, sister-in-law Dorothy Dacyshyn, children Mardi, Mike (April), Jacquie (Jon), Joe (Alison) and grandchildren Amber, Courtney, Rebecca, Callum and Maggie. Memorial Service will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
