Vernon will be unbelievably missed by his six children and eight grandchildren. Jessica Murphy (Cohen, Damian, Liam), Tanya Ward (Aedyn, Tielyr) William Ward (Owen), Joshua Doerr, Sheila Rodway (Rayne, Mia) and Joseph Ward. Beloved brother of Lisa Williamson (Doug), Brenda Kerney (Brad), Wendy Geske (Brad), Patricia McGill (Chris), Gordon Ward (Janice). Much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Vernon was predeceased by his mother Ruth Ginger (Tom) and his father Leroy Ward (Judy).
Vernon was always the life of the party. His energy could set the tone of the room and his big smile could pick you up even on the darkest days. Vernon reached the hearts of many and will forever be loved and missed by all.
The funeral service will take place at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph on Sunday, October 16th, 2022 beginning at 1:30 p.m. The service will be livestreamed via ZOOM and the link is available below this obituary.
