Vinod Kumar Gulati

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vinod Gulati on January 2nd, 2022, in his 76th year.

Beloved husband of Suchitra Gulati for 26 years, and former spouse of Linda Gulati for 19 years. Loving father to Sonia Elizabeth (Dereck Addie), Sunita Carine (Igor Latkovic) and Ajay Raj (Janice Paveo). Cherished Grandfather to Maya, Emma, Nathan, Nicholas, Mateo and Mia.

Mr. Gulati emigrated to Montreal from India over 50 years ago with very little but a suitcase, and in the years that followed he created an abundant life for his family and loved ones. He built a career in the aviation industry, having worked for Canadair, Rolls Royce and Boeing. Given his admirable work ethic, he was able to retire early, at the age of 53. He was a proud Freemason, rising to be Master of his Lodge, and completing Scottish Rite. Among his many interests, he loved being surrounded by his grandchildren, taking family vacations, listening to Indian debates online and talking business and real estate.

As per family's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, January 6th, 2022 from 5-7pm at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Guests are asked to RSVP via the funeral homes website below his obituary. Please wear a mask, and socially distance.
