Yolanda Simm

Peacefully passed away in her 89th year at Hospice Wellington on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Jack Simm, and then to the late Gus Mitges. Cherished mother of Tina Muller (Richard) and Yolanda Mitges (the late David), and the late Tony Simm. Dear grandmother of Michelle, Melanie, Dominic and Antonia, and great-grandmother of Laura, Nicole, Evan and Lachlan. Predeceased by her parents Raymondo and Santina Odarico. Loving sister of Remo, Reno, Rena, and the late Ray and Rosie. She will be sadly missed by her siblings and their spouses, and also by sisters and brothers in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and relatives in England, France and Italy. The family would like to thank CCAC, Hospice Wellington, and Guelph General Hospital for the great care and compassion provided to Yolanda. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph (519-821-5077) on Tuesday, March 31 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Vigil at 2:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Basilica of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk Street, Guelph, on Wednesday, April, 1 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Marymount Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington, Guelph General Hospital or The Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
