Coolidge R. Chu, 87, passed away on March 29, 2014. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and achieved the rank of Lt. Colonel after later serving in the Army. He worked in various public relations roles with the American Medical Association, I.R.S. and D.H.E.W. He also taught at I.I.T. He is survived by his daughters, Christina (Keith) Cerk and Cara (Don) Frosch; 4 grandchildren, Justin, Courtney, Brendan and Kylie; a great-grandson, Zachary; 1 brother and 4 sisters. Coolidge was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; son, Jeffrey; and 3 brothers. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral following at 11:00 a.m. at Marsh Funeral Home.
