Ellen Miller, 89, died on Friday, September 21, 2012 at home in Gurnee. Ellen was born August 15, 1923 in Mellen, Wisconsin. Ellen was a caring and loving wife and mother. She sought to please God each and every day and showed kindness to others whenever possible. She was member of the Marble Hill Study Club, GFWC. Her memory will always be honored by her brother, George (Audrey) Ratio; her daughter, JoAnn (Jack) Melcher; stepchildren, Chuck (Sharon) Miller, Dori Miller, Barbara Savage, and Ann Miller; her 12 grandchildren; and her 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Miller; her sons, Charlie, Billy, and Jerry Kangas; and her sister and parents. Visitation 10-11 A.M. Tuesday at Marsh Funeral Home.
