George Edward Ogilvie, 93 of Waukegan, IL. passed away on October 6, 2016 in Waukegan. He was born on October 20, 1922 to Robert and Nellie Ogilvie in Craig, Il. He was employed at Johnson Motors for over 30 years and Great Lakes photo lab for over 20 years. He is survived by 3 children Judith (Jack) Harper, Janet (the late John) Deutsch, Debra (Bruce) Hankey, seven grandchildren Vicki (Mark) Benke, Margie (Bruce) Schwarz, Capt. Jaclyn Deutsch RCAF, John Jay (Ivette) Deutsch II, Eric (Michelle) Lambert, Kaitlyn Hankey and Brian Hankey, eight great grandchildren, two siblings Marcella Lambert and Daniel (Lina) Ogilvie. George was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, daughter Carol (Harold) Lambert and siblings Viola, Robert, Thomas, Jack and James. Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 11, 2016 at 10:00 am with funeral starting at 11:00 am at Memorial United Methodist Church 2935 Sheridan Rd. Zion, Il. Burial Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, Il. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church.
