John Edward Noe, Jr., age 78, of Grayslake, former longtime resident of Joliet, Marine Corps Veteran, after a long illness passed away peacefully on January 18, 2015 in the presence of his loving family and friends. Distinguished Culinary Arts Educator for many years at Joliet Junior College. Son of the late John Noe and the late Sophie (nee Vinovich) Brady. Beloved husband of Jeannine (nee Latta) for 59 years. Cherished father of John III (Lizbeth Bergquist), Jennifer (Thomas Boyd), and Jeremy. Longtime father-in-law of Sherri Oliver-Noe. Adoring grandfather of Terese, John IV, Taylor, Victoria, Melissa, and Joseph. Fond Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Loving brother of William "Bill" (Linda) Noe, James (Jim Frederiksen) Noe, and Tim Brady. Dear friend of Ela Trzcinski and Christine Gross. Preceded in death by sisters Jackie (Tom) Quinlan, Lorraine Salas, and Charmaine (Bob) Sandlin. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 20, from noon to 6:00 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 North Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. Private interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL.
