Lesly J. Johnson

Lesly J. Johnson (nee Harding) age 71, of Waukegan died Monday, August 30, 2010 at Vista Medical Center East. She was born September 18, 1938 and was a lifelong resident of Waukegan, Illinois. Lesly loved animals. She served as a board member of Little Fort Kennel Club. She was a daycare provider for many years and was fondly referred to as "Auntie". One of Lesly's greatest joys was watching her grandchildren play baseball and softball. She was also a longtime member of TOPS. She is survived by her daughter, Carie (Bill) Fletcher of Zion; Former husband Leo Johnson of Waukegan; sisters Geraldine (Daryl) Ostrander of Winthrop Harbor, and Karen Lindsey of Chicago; her grandchildren, Beth (Nick Stevens) Schenkel of Winthrop Harbor, Billy Fletcher and Leslie Fletcher of Zion; and her great-grandson, Ian Schenkel of Winthrop Harbor as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and very dear friends. She is preceded in death by her son Jimmie Johnson, parents Louis and Irene Harding, brother Louis Harding, sister Carolyn Rush and nephew Robert Heim. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a funeral service at 7:00 pm at Marsh Funeral Home 305 N
